What size board should I get?
The size of your board is determined by your height, weight, and skill level. Generally the longer and wider the board is, the more stability it will provide. Can I travel with my board on top of my car?
Absolutely! Seavya offers a wide range of transport accessories to help you get your inflatable board from point A to point B.
Be sure to use the Board Bag for longer transits. This will protect your board from sun rays and debris kicked up from travel.
If transporting an inflatable product, make sure to transport below 10 psi to allow for heat-caused air expansion which will put stress on the seams. Once you arrive at your destination, just top off with air and you are good to go!

Can I take the board on an airplane?
Yes, we have flown with our boards often! Always check with the airline baggage requirements before you travel with your SUP. You may want to wrap your SUP Backpack in something like secure wrap, the clear wrap you can find in most airports.
-
Is it ok to ride with my dog on board?
Yes, our boards are durable for your dogs (and cats?)! Your dog’s nails will not puncture the board, but they may scratch the deck or EVA pad. Be careful when helping your dog on and off the board.
-
Can Seavya boards be used in the ocean?
Absolutely! Our boards are meant for any body of water. If you are new to paddle boarding we suggest you try the board on a calm body of water before venturing out into waves. Wash your board with fresh water and let it dry completely before storing your board.
-
Will rocks or sunken logs damage my inflatable board?
Although our boards are made from military grade PVC material, it is possible a sharp object can damage your board at high speed. Our boards are made to withstand most light impacts with rocks, logs, etc.

How do I install the fins on my SUP?
Slide and push the fins into the groove and lock the fin with the rear latch. The center fin has a tighter fit, so may require a bit more force when first installing the fin.

How do I inflate my board?
Attach the air hose to the “out” side of the pump. Locate the air valve at the rear of the board, make sure the valve pin is in the up position before inflation. Attach the other end of the hose to the high pressure air valve by inserting and twisting the hose clockwise into the valve. Inflate the board to 12-15 PSI. The air pressure gauge will not register until you reach 7-8 PSI. When fully inflated, remove the pump hose, carefully, by twisting counter clockwise. Replace the valve cover on the air valve.

How do I deflate my board?
Make sure your board is dry before deflation. You do not want any water to get inside the board. Remove the valve cover. Press and hold down the valve pin/button and turn counter-clockwise for 1/4 of a turn. Air will rush out loudly for a few seconds - don’t be alarmed! Allow the air to escape for a few minutes. Roll the board from the nose. Continue rolling and use the strap to secure the board once rolled up. Remember to lock the valve in the up position before inflating! Do not, under any circumstances, use the valve wrench to deflate your board.
